Atria Business Innovation Centre (ABiC) and Atria Institute of Technology (AIT), Hebbal, celebrated World Entrepreneurs Day last week in their campus near Hebbal, Bangalore to create awareness and inculcate spirit of innovation among students.
“The economic landscape is constantly evolving and challenging the companies to focus on the entrepreneur-driven ecosystems. New-age firms like Ola have smaller number of employee base but their goal-driven work culture inspires millions to plan their careers. ” said Sanjay Shulka, Director for ABiC (Atria Business Innovation Centre). Sanjay further added that the unique feature of this year’s event was the competition ideas that came from the students.
Speaking at the occasion, guest speaker Ms. Richa Khadelwal Bhat, CEO of Keshava Productions shared her journey as an entrepreneur in film production. She strongly advised students to think out of the box in changing economic conditions. She spoke on “Film Engineering” and the use of advanced technology such as artificial intelligence in script writing.
Close to 100 students participated in various competitions such as Crisis Management and Dare to Advertise.The debate on Job seekers vs Job creators generated lot of interest among students. The two-day event concluded with the grand finale on World Entrepreneurs day.
Event was also presided by Mr. T. R. Anand Adviser AIT, Mr. Kaushik Raju Director (Technical) and Dr. K. V. Narayanswamy Principal-AIT.
